Brandon Maisel, D.O.

Brandon Maisel, M.D.Dr. Brandon Maisel Ramos is originally from Boca Raton, Florida and will be beginning his first year on the University of West Alabama Sports Medicine Staff. Dr. Maisel Ramos began his education at the University of Central Florida earning a degree in Biology. He later went on to earn his medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine-Carolinas Campus. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. During his time in residency, he earned the title of Chief Resident. Currently, Dr. Maisel Ramos is training as a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellow at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham, AL under the leadership of Dr. Jose Ortega. In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Maisel Ramos enjoys cycling, running, and spending time with his better half, Alexandra and their beloved English bulldog Otis!
