Alex Johnson, M.D.Dr. Alex Johnson, originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, attended The Georgia Institute of Technology where he received a B.S. degree in nuclear and radiological engineering. He went on to study medicine at Emory University. He then completed orthopaedic surgery residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He is currently training as an orthopaedic surgery sports medicine fellow at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham under the leadership of Drs. Andrews, Cain, Dugas, and Emblom. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three young kids and has a passion for college football.
