Jason Taylor is a first-year intern athletic trainer at UWA. He received his B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of West Alabama in May of 2025. Throughout his time as a student, Jason has worked several varsity sports at UWA, including football, volleyball, men's and women's tennis, women's soccer, the 2022-23 GSC men's basketball championship team,  as well as the 2025 GSC baseball championship team. On top of varsity sports, he has also provided athletic training services for Demopolis High school and several other high schools surrounding Livingston, AL.  Jason has also worked as a Summer Athletic Training Intern for the Mississippi State Football team in the summer of 2023, and the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps in Canton, OH in the summer of 2024. He plans to pursue a master’s degree in Sport Management.
